Application for organisational membership by a prosecution service

An application for organisational membership by a prosecution service may be granted if in the opinion of the IAP Executive Committee, the service is the principal or only prosecution agency of a country or jurisdicitional area. Membership may also be granted to a prosecution service with a specialised mandate, such as a military prosecutor's office or a serious fraud office.

Application for organisational membership by an association of prosecutors

An application for organisational membership by an association of prosecutors may be granted if, in the opinion of the IAP Executive Committee, the association is representative of a substantial number of prosecutors in a courntry or jurisdiction. Two or more associations of prosecutors may combine for the purpose of applying for organisational membership and may for the purposes of Article 2.3. in the IAP Constitution be treated as constituting a single organisation.
