The IAP Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is, subject to the decision of the General Meeting, the governing body of the Association. The Association elects a President, up to nine Vice-Presidents and 21 other ordinary members constituting the Executive Committee. The membership of the Executive Committee shall reflect the regions of the world in which the Association has members.

The IAP Officials

The Executive Committee appoints a Secretary General who is the Chief Executive of the Association and manages its day to day affairs of the Association; a General Counsel, who is the legal counsellor to the Executive Committee and who manages the professional programme and the project work of the Association; and an Executive Director who is responsible for the membership relations and recruitments and for the Association’s network development and facilitation.

The IAP Senate

The Senate of the Association consists of past members of the Executive Committee. It operates in conjunction with the President and the Executive Committee. The Senate serves as an advisory body and imposed other responsibilities to promote the objects and functioning of the Association.
