IAP Annual Conferences

The IAP Constitution provides for a conference to be held annually in conjunction with the General Meeting to discuss topics which accord with the Objects of the Association.

The Annual Conferences provide the opportunity for worldwide interactions in a legal context and the only opportunity for prosecutors to meet exclusively with colleagues from all parts of the world to discuss subjects in terms which are most relevant to prosecutors. The most recent conference was hosted in Tbilisi, Georgia in September, 2022 which was attended by approx. 350 prosecutors from 65 different countries.

The venues for the 28th and 29th Annual Conferences have been selected. The 28th Annual Conference is hosted in London, United Kingdom from 24 - 27 September 2023 and the 28th Annual Conference will be hosted in Baku, Azerbaijan from 29 September - 2 October 2024.
