The IAP Secretariat regrets to inform all members and prospective participants that, due to the global health crisis caused by COVID-19, the 25th IAP Annual Conference in Athens has been cancelled. Overall, the degree of uncertainty concerning the spread of COVID-19, and the uncertainty about further lockdown restrictions and the limitations in the international flight connections, left the IAP Executive Committee and the Greek Local Organising Committee no other choice but to take this difficult decision. 

We were truly looking forward to this conference and are saddened to deliver such disappointing news. However, given the current circumstances, we believe that this is the best course of action, as our priority lies with safeguarding the health and safety of our participants and staff. 

We recognise all the hard work, that so many have put into the preparation of this event and we are eternally grateful to them.

On behalf of the IAP, we wish everyone health and safety during these unpredictable times, and look forward to seeing you again in better circumstances at our 26th Annual Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2021.
